Edith married Otto Meberg November 28, 1936. Otto passed away on June 19, 1950 of Hogdkins Disease, leaving Edith with two children. Otto's brother, Sverre Meberg, had also immigrated from Norway and in true Norwegian tradition took on the responsibility of helping Edith raise the children - - and of course, they fell in love and got married! Interestingly, Edith's sister Mildred married the third Meberg boy, Oswald (Ozzie)! Sverre passed away in 2003. Edith is the daughter of Aksel and Thea Larsen, also buried in this cemetery.
