Calvin Ladd, widower of Shirley Ann Moore Ladd, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his home in Pendleton.

Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Lewis Martin and Alice Gailey Ladd. Calvin was a retired employee of BASF Anderson Plant and was a Clemson Tiger Baseball fan. He was a member of Faith Fellowship.

Surviving are his son, Wayne Ladd (Karen) of Pendleton; brothers, Charles Donald Ladd and Tommy Ladd both of Pendleton, and James Ladd of Abbeville; sisters, Faye Willis of Seneca, Mary Lee Cobb of Mauldin, Nancy Hamby of Starr and Patricia Bramlett of Pendleton; grandchildren, Jeremy Ladd (Nicole) and Kayla Ladd Smith (Travis); and grandchildren, Kampbell Smith, Ella Smith, Anna Blair Ladd and Avery Smith.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Billy Ladd.

Funeral services will be 2:30, Wednesday in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Chuckie Chandler and Brad Hanks officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM, Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
