Hilda Leona Bauer, aged 13, died Saturday night, February 16th, about ten o'clock, at St. Mary's hospital, Madison. She was born November 17th, 1910, about three miles east of Plain. Her first education was received in the Meadow View district school. At the time of her illness and for several years previous she had attended St. Luke's school. Hilda was a bright, cheerful child. who always had a pleasant smile. She will be greatly missed by friends and schoolmates. Her corpse was met at Spring Green Sunday afternoon, February 17th, and accompanied home by the relatives and neighbors in cars. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, the 19th, at St. Luke's chapel, Reverend Father Surges officiating. Interment, was made in the family lot In the new cemetery. In spite of the inclement weather, a very large number accompanied the remains to the grave. Those left to mourn her death are: Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bauer, one brother, Alfred, many relatives and friends. Card of Thanks. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the neighbors and friends for their kindness and sympathy, also for the flowers and of the favors during the illness and death of our daughter, Hilda.
