Patricia A. Falenschek, Age 90, of Brainerd, MN passed away on December 20, 2018. Pat Keppers was born April 30, 1928 in Bemidji, MN. At an early age her family moved to Brainerd, where Pat attended St. Francis Elementary School and graduated from Washington High School.
In 1947 she married Mel Falenschek. They were married for 69 years before Mel's passing in 2017. They had three children. Jim (Lisa) of Waseca, John of Baxter and Ron (Deb) of Northfield; she had 6 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Over the years, Pat worked in secretarial positions and also several years as an aide for the school district. Her primary roles however were as a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen and brother, Larry.
The family would like to thank the workers at Edgewood Vista and St. Croix Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm (Visitation at 12:00) on Thursday, December 27th at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Des Marais officiating. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home.
