Cathie Jo (Bonsall) Carroll, of Boulder, Colorado, born on May 5, 1947 in California, to the late Mary Huval and the late Leonard Bonsall, passed away at age 71 on May 13, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas. She graduated from South Park High School in 1965, and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University. She is survived by her son, Mark Carroll (Rose); daughter, Jill Carroll Cherry (Steve); sister, Linda Toombs; grandchildren, Emily, Raley, Leo, and Jasmin; aunts, JoAnn and Shirley; many cousins; a large extended family; and a host of friends. Cathie was passionate about all animals. She facilitated the rescue and placement of hundreds of cats and dogs over the last 25 years. Donations in Cathie's name to Smiling Dog Farms (smilingdogfarms.com / 877-975-0914) are welcome and appreciated. Cathie was a member of Celebration Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. Friends and family members attended a celebration of her life, officiated by Rev Carol West, on Saturday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
