Margaret Pollock, 85, of Perryopolis, passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2006.
She was born May 7, 1921, in Star Junction, the daughter of the late John and Sophia (Sofranko) Bendik.
Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, where she also was a member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by one daughter, three sons and their wives, a son-in-law, ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Joseph R. Pollock Jr.; two brothers, Mike Bendik and Joseph R. Bendik; four sisters, Sophia Grib, Ann Swiantek, Mary Vargo and Agnes Bendik; and one grandson, Robert M. Pollock Jr., preceded her in death.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence St., Perryopolis on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, Nov. 27, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis with the Rev. John T. Euker as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Perryopolis.
A Wake Service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
