Charles was the son to the late William H. and Dorthea Elva (Woodling) Boyer.
He married Linda (Barker) Boyer, she survives at home.
Mr. Boyer was a veteran of the US Army. He was employed by Universal Rundle and then went on to work for Devido Stone and Marble Company as a laborer. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing. What gave him the most joy in life, was spending time with his family. Charles was a member of First Church of God.
Along with his wife, Linda, Charles is survived by daughter; Susan (William)Horvath of Fort Worth, TX., daughter Deborah Schnurr of New Castle, two sons; Charles W. (Sally) Boyer and Todd Boyer, both of New Castle, one brother; Robert J. (Sally) of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; William Boyer, one sister; Betty Mae Kriebel.
Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
