Services for Mr. Luke Lemoine will be at Christ The King Catholic church, Simmesport, on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 12 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Corkery officiating. Interment will be in Christ The King Mausoleum, Simmesport under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport.
Mr. Lemoine, age 92, of Simmesport died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Bayou Chateau Nursing Center, Simmesport.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Lemoine and wife Betty of Grosse Tete, Raymond Lemoine of Simmesport, James R. Lemoine and wife Liz of Simmesport; daughters, Josephine (Lemoine) Meche and husband Glen of Fordoche, Jane (Lemoine) Raggio and husband Stephen of Lafayette; brothers, Elliott Lemoine of Simmesport, Willie Lemoine of Walker; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie (Gueho) Lemoine; father, John Lemoine and mother, Louise (Riche) Lemoine.
Visitation will be at Escude Funeral Home, Simmesport on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
