A. GORDON CABLE JR., 69, of 614 Cedar Crest Drive, Carneys Point, NJ, died Sunday of heart failure at home. Mr. Cable was a lab technician at DuPont Co.'s Chambers Works plant in Deepwater, retiring in 1982 after 38 years. He was a member of Delaware Antiques Arms Collectors Association and a charter member of Abnacki Society, Numismatis Association and Big Little Book Club. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served in the Asiatic-Pacific theater.
Survivors: wife, mary Ann Hyland Cable; daughters, Barbara J. Parks and Kathy L. Poeta, both of Pennsville, sister Averill G. Beaty of Pennsville; two grandsons.
Service: 11 am Wednesday, Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 N. Broadway, Pennsville. Visitation: 10 am, Burial: Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
