Katherine was born to Gilbert Charles Adamson and Kathryn Frances Bates in El Dorado, Arkansas on January 7, 1929. Upon the death of her father in 1942, she moved to Longview to live with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Coats. On July 24, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church, she was married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. James Willis Booth, Jr., a Longview orthodontist. They were the parents of four children.
Mrs. Booth served as an Elder in the First Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of Friendship Sunday School Class and served as Moderator of the women of the church. She was a member and President of the Shakespeare Club, The Green Thumb Garden Club, the Junior Literary Club, and The Junior League of Longview.
Kitty loved life, God, her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her fellowman.

She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years and a granddaughter, Katheryn Elizabeth Hogue.
Special thanks and love to her caregiver and dear friend of many years, Lou Scott. The family would like to thank the staff of Ledgestone Senior Living, especially Gina Johnson, Ana Enamorado, and Rena Herrera. Also, much gratitude to Magnolia Hospice for their compassionate care and caregivers, Stephanie BaDour and Dana Joiner.
