Corydon Hunt, a son of the late Silas and Mary Holloway Hunt, was born at Bible Grove, Mo., October 6, 1866. He received his education there, and on January 6,1904, he married Miss Minta Purvis at Bible Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt had made their home in Chillicothe for 28 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving Mr. Hunt are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Snyder of Chillicothe; two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Stice of Ozark, Mo., and Miss Lily Hunt of Seligman, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Four brothers and four sisters preceded Mr. Hunt in death.
Funeral services were held from the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Ralph Akers officiating. Interment was made in the family plot in the Forest Park Cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, June 27, 1950
