Mavis Breitenbucher, 85, Davenport, died Thursday, May 29, 1997, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Private services for the family will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation/luncheon will be held at the Elks Lodge, 4400 W. Central Park, Davenport, for friends and Elk members from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the dialysis unit at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus Annex Building 1.
Mavis was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Winnipeg, Canada. She married Richard Breitenbucher June 2, 1962, in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband; and a brother, Dr. Bruce Maclean, Vancouver, B.C., Canada. She was preceded in death by a sister, Maureen Wester, Hot Springs, Alaska, in August of 1996.
