WEST JORDAN - Donald Dwight Allred, age 74, passed away September 23, 1991, of natural causes.

Born May 1, 1917, in Beaver, Utah to Joseph Parley and Zerelda Allred. Married Nita Hattie Harris

June 24, 1944, in Las Vegas, Nevada; marriage later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She preceded him in death, November 21, 1978.

He is survived by: daughter, Mrs. David H. (Donna A.) Schmidt; seven grandchildren, Monika, St. George; Kristin, Alisa, Erik, Anna, Matthew and Erin, all of Taylorsville; a brother, Darol D. Allred, Hatch, Utah; two sisters, Arlene Anderson, Henderson, Nevada; Velma Allred, Richfield, Utah.

He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He spent 45 years as a resident of California before moving to West Jordan, Utah in 1989. He was a kind and gentle man. We will miss him very much.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the Bingham Creek 2nd Ward, 1925 West 9000 South. Friends may call Thursday, 11 a.m., at the church. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery, under the direction of McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home.
