                            McGuire.
   Mrs. McGuire died Saturday, after an illness of several weeks at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mongold, in Hamlin. Rev. Duke McFaden preached the funeral sermon at Bethany Sunday afternoon. Five daughters and one son survive the deceased, Mrs. Bingham[sic], Mrs. Mongold, Mrs. C. Parter[sic], Mrs. Milton Berkley and Charles McGuire.
   Mr. McGuire died several years ago.
   For the funeral the church was beautifully trimmed and draped in black and white, with many potted plants and cut flowers, the work of Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. G. Berkley, Mrs. Tucker and Mrs. Maurice Berkley.
   Those who sang were: Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Maurice Berkley, E. Shelton, W. Stapleton, C. Jones, J. J. Tucker and R. C. Berkley.
