Arminta Jane Branson, age 85, of Owensville, formerly of Belle passed away December 14, 2018 at the Frene Valley Nursing Facility in Owensville.

Arminta was born on October 29, 1933, in Belle, a daughter to the late Warren and Opal (Haynes) Branson. She was one of eleven children born into the family.

Arminta had a heart of gold. She loved going for car rides and watching her favorite soap opera, “The Young and the Restless” but most of all she enjoyed visits and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Julia Branson; 31 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Arminta is preceded in death by: five brothers, Charles, Warren, Junior (Brandy), Calvin Robert (Red), and Donald (Mack) Branson; five sisters and two brother-in-law’s, Flossie (Coly) Hartman, Marie (Floyd) Carwile, Edna Tyree, Shirley Hutcherson and a baby sister; two nieces, Betty Lou Hartman and Caroline Branson; and five nephews, Edward Crider, Mike Crider, John Tyree, and Donald Branson, Jr.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Kevin Runge officiating. Interment will be in Skaggs Chapel Cemetery.
