Howard Allen Page, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002.
Howard was born Dec. 10, 1921 to George A. Page and Mary Winnie Porter. He married Donna A. Best August 28, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. Served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. After the war, he attended the University of Utah and graduated from there with a degree in Pharmacy in 1949. He worked as a pharmacist for almost 50 years. Howard was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which he served in many capacities. He will be remembered as a man that always enjoyed giving service to others. He was an avid square dancer and traveled with his wife to many areas of the country for dances.
Howard is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Steven (Nadine), Murray; Mark (Jena), Portland, OR; Darrell (Anne), Layton; 11 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Kent.
The family would like to thank the people of the IHC Hospice and the LDS Millstream Ward for all the care and love they gave to Howard and his wife during Howard's difficult last few weeks. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2002, 11:30 a.m. at the LDS Millstream Ward, 3400 South 1100 East. Friends and family may call Wednesday, October 2, 2002, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd and Thursday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
