Howard F. Lock, age 61, of Rural Route 4, Box 155-K Cedar Lake, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 27, at St. Margaret Hospital. Survivors: wife, Bella; two brothers, Edward of East Chicago, Robert of Hammond; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy (Lock) Negrelli of Gary, Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor of Hammond and Mrs. Annette Zogg of Louisville, Kentucky; one aunt, Miss Elizabeth Flack of East Chicago; eleven nieces and nephews; two great-nephews; one great-niece. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 8:30 a.m. from the Huber Funeral Home, 905 W. Chicago Ave., East Chicago, 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Church. Reverend Stephen Vrabely officiating. Burial Mt. Mercy Cemetery, Gary. He was a lifetime resident of East Chicago before moving to Cedar Lake four years ago, engineer for 40 years of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad, member of Brotherhood of Locomotive engineers local 582. His mother passed away one week ago. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Monday.
