Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Harold Vaughn of Oak Park; six children, Sabrina Calhoun of Vidalia, Cindy Jones and husband Robert of the Johnson Corner Community, Tim Vaughn and wife Kathy of Macon, Mark Vaughn and wife Sonya, Lisa Williamson and Greg, and Russ Vaughn and wife Tammye, all of Vidalia; one brother, Earl “Buddy” Coleman, Jr. of Belmont, North Carolina; three sisters, Maggie Lofton and Mildred Costner, both of Lincolnton, and Alice Elmore and husband Robert of Cherryville, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Thursday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m. in the Olney Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Bill Durrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Park City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00.
