Mrs. Irma T. Crew, a longtime resident of Yonkers,
passed at the age of 103.
She was proud to have been born in Yonkers where she lived all of her
life until recent years.
Irma was educated in the Yonkers school system and was a faithful
parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Getty Square where she
taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and served on the vestry.
Irma was a loyal member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served
as a past state grand officer. She enjoyed a long career at the
Consolidated Edison electric company.
Irma was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Crew,
her parents, Lillian & Walter Bauer and her sister, Audrey all of Yonkers.
She is survived by her sons Gary & Cory. Daughters in law Suzanne & Marie. Grandchildren, Samantha, Jesse, Robin & Cory and
four great grandchildren, Lucas, Connor, Keira & Harrison.
