June was born in Marshall County, Iowa to the late Frank David and Edna Day Hauser. She was a retired secretary for the Public Health Service, a member of the Berea United Methodist Church, a member of the Berea Homemaker Club, a member of the Richmond Choral Society, and a member of the Berea Women’s Club.
In addition to her parents, June was also preceded in death by her husband Leroy Legg and seven siblings, Frank, Fred, Carl, Dorothy, Margaret, Ruth Ann, and Joy.
She is survived by her four children, Bonnie Jones, Ken (Renee) Legg, Dave (Lorie) Legg, and Barb (Marty) Legg; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and her first great-great granddaughter will arrive in February.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 12pm-2pm at Lakes Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2pm. Private family burial will be in the Berea Cemetery.
