Maranei K. Sharp, age 60, passed away peacefully June 3, 2002.
She was born on September 16, 1941 in American Fork, Utah to Duane and Marba Keetch. She married Terry E. Sharp and later divorced.
In 1946 the family moved to California where she grew up in Graeagle. She received her education there and graduated from Portola Sr. High School in 1960. After graduation, the family moved back to Utah where she worked at Delton Lanes Bowling Alley as a supervisor over the snack bar. Then she worked as a lead worker at Ballards, Deseret Pharmaceutical and B&D Medical Co. until she retired in 1999.
She is survived by her father, son Terry (Teresa) Sharp, grandchildren Tadd and Tyson Winter, sister Diane Butterfield, niece LeAnn (Dave) Douglas and great-nephews Tyler and Skyler Douglas. She is preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents.
A graveside service will be held Friday June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
