He was born September 17, 1903 in Vernal, son of Charles and Christine S. Hohne Taylor. He married Ethel Jarrell September 16, 1931 in Duchesne; she died April 4, 1980. He was the former owner and manager of the Lapoint Pool Hall. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.Survived by his son and daughter, J. Kent Taylor, Richfield; Kathryn Taylor, Tooele; grandchildren, Jacquie, Alison and Jeff; brothers, Charles (Chuck) Taylor, Lapoint; Lloyd Taylor, Vernal; and Harvy Taylor, Lapoint.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, Lapoint Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Thomsons Vernal Mortuary, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior at the ward.
