On December 4, 2018 Heaven opened its gates to Robert James Fauver who passed after a difficult fight. Bob was born to Norvel and Florence (Nielsen)Fauver 75 years ago. Bob married his high school sweetheart Barbara (Palmer), making their home in Sanford for 54 adventurous years.

Bob was a plumber all of his adult life. He owned and operated R&R Mechanical and took great pride in his profession. He was also co-owner of the Sanford Sport Shop with his brother Ron for 32 years.

Spending time with his family was most important to him; they were his pride and joy. Bob was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son-in-law.

He is survied by his wife Barbara(Bobbi) Fauver; daughters Angel (Jason) Martin, Jacquelyn (Dave) Chubb; grandson's Tristan Martin; Caden and Garrett Chubb; brothers Ron (Jane) Fauver, Doug (Dorothy) Fauver; mother-in-law Vivian Palmer; brother-in-law Hugh Nightlinger; sister-in-law Gail Palmer; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family, good friends Jim and Carol Leigeb, his Labrador companion Roco Jax and many others.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, father-in-law Louis Palmer. sister-in-law Joyce Nightlinger and brother-in-law Darrel Palmer. He was a man of great faith and was an avid sportsman/marksman who loved to hunt and fish, especially at his log cabin in the Pigeon River Forest. He also enjoyed hobbies like reading and wood carving. He had a gift to gab and was a wonderful storyteller/historian.
