James "Mr. T" Tallurico, age 87, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago on July 7, 1931, the son of James V. and Mary (nee Blazek) Tallurico. On October 30, 1954, he married the love of his life, Maria Sangirardi at the Presentation Church in Chicago.
James was a past Commander for the American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Maria and their dear children: James Anthony (Bonnie) Tallurico, Joseph John (Steven Scully) Tallurico; cherished grandchildren: Lisa, Vinnie; adoring great-grandchildren: Donny and Alice.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Tallurico.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 9am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 at the Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Rd., McHenry. Interment will follow at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
