Mr. Richard David Noggle, 74, of 186 Bootleggers Lane in Washington, passed away Tuesday evening, December 4, 2018, at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta.
Mr. Noggle was born in Cobb County and had lived in Wilkes County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Elcoe and Myrtle Casper Noggle. He had worked as a foreman at Burt Lumber Company for a number of years. He was an Army Veteran and was a member of the Mallorysville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth N. Hill, and husband Dennis, of Lexington; one brother, Dorsey Noggle, and wife Edna, of Tignall; one grandson, Travis Hill, and wife Miranda, of Lexington, and a great grandson, Easton Hill. Mr. Noggle was preceded in death by two brothers, Watson Noggle and Elcoe Noggle, Jr., and by a sister, Zelma N. Mattox.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, December 7, 2018, at the Mallorysville Baptist Church with Rev. Barry McAvoy officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening, December 6, 2018, at Hopkins Funeral Home.
