Mrs. Stilwell was born June 25, 1925, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was a Methodist who served as both a teacher and as the Clark County coordinator for the Laubach Literacy program in Vancouver.
Survivors include her husband, Richard "Dick" H., at home; two sons, Lawrence of Snohomish, Wash., and Gregory of Lincoln City, Ore.; two daughters, Kathy Buckmaster of Hillsboro and Nancy Memsic of Bend, Ore.; two brothers, Ronald R. Archer and Albert K. Archer both of Vancouver; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Staples Funeral Chapel. Viewing will be 12 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
