WEATHERFORD - Jimmy E. Bynum, 73, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.
He worked as a general machinist in Skunk Works and the experimental department of Bell Helicopter for 36 years. He was an avid supporter of Israel and Holocaust victims, he was a strong Christian and lover of Christ. Jimmy was a kind yet ornery dare devil of a man.
He will be missed by all. He battled chronic kidney disease and other health issues.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Esteen and Cordelia Bynum; and brother, Bobby Bynum.
Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Billie Bynum; daughters, Mimi Bynum Johnson and husband, Albert Johnson of Fort Worth, Jr., and Ginger Westfall and husband, Jarrett of Gustine; grandchildren, Aaron Whipple, Jarred Westfall and wife, Katie, Carolanne Whipple and Garrett Westfall; great-granddaughter, Leighton Westfall; siblings, Shirley Mix and husband, Richard, Jerry Bynum and wife, Vicki, Peggy Qualls and Neal Bynum; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
