Conrad was a U. S. Army veteran having served in Korea, 3rd Division, 7th Regiment, Second Battalion 1950-1952. He was a member of Lashmeet Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Coca Cola after 30 years where he was a machine service man. He was a well-known area artist and was proud of his Native American ancestry and enjoyed making moccasins and Indian jewelry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Pettrey Jenkins.
He is survived by children, Rick Jenkins of Princeton, Connie Jane Foley and companion, Eppie Fike of Elgood, Roy Jenkins and wife Polly of Lebanon, PA, Timothy Jenkins of Lerona, Tina Easter and husband Charles of Princeton and Rhonda Tebbe of Oakvale; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Darrell Jenkins of Virginia, Dorla Tiller of Lashmeet, Garry Jenkins of Bellevue, IL, James Jenkins of Georgia and Theda Farmer of Princeton and special friend, Helen. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Family will serve as pallbearers.
