Edward James Stapleton - Edward James Stapleton, 71, of 270 E. Main St. Newark, died yesterday at his home after an illness of a month. Mr. Stapleton, husband of Mary C. Stapleton worked 43 years at National Vulcanized Fibre Company in Newark and was pensioned last month. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Francis Stapleton of Newark; a sister Annie Burris of Christiana and a brother, William Stapleton of Newark. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday from the R T Jones Funeral Home, Newark with the Rev. John Bunting pastor of the Newark Methodist church, Officiating. Interment will be in the cemetery of Newark Methodist Church. Friend may call at the funeral home Friday evening between 7-9 pm.

Joseph Albert Stapleton: 1889-1933 m. 1905 Viola G. Oakes (Divorced) m. 1923 Ariana K. Moorhead (divorced) m. Catherine Elizabeth Schartz (Lennox) buried at Mountain Lake Cemetery, Bradford County, Pa. He died of a horse and cart accident.
