Lily May MacLemore Clark, 93, of Midway, died Sunday, December 2, 2018. She was born on December 3, 1924, daughter of the late Chester Horace and Clara MacLemore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Granville Clark, Sr. Mrs. Clark was a graduate of the Margaret Hall School and Hollins University. She was a Sustainer Emeritus of the Junior League of Lexington, the Midway Presbyterian Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her children, Sarah Margaret Blair (Stewart) Bristol TN; William Granville Clark, Jr.; Mary Elizabeth McBurney (Gene), Roanoke, VA; Patrick Calhoun Clark (Cathy), Camden, SC. , five grandchildren, William Granville Clark III (Susan), Mt. Sterling; Edward Clay Clark (Dennis), Lexington; Sarah Keesee Jones (Brian), Bristol, TN; Elizabeth Keesee Fellers (Brian), Bristol, TN; Margaret May McBurney Koes (Alex), San Francisco, CA, and four great grandchildren. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
