Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Jessie Angelle, 94, who passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia at a later date.

Jessie was born in Cecilia, Louisiana to the late Albin and Helen Angelle.

Jessie honorably served as a medic in the United States Army for 12 years during WWII and in Normandy on "D-Day". He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, fishing, hunting with the Morley gang, and being outdoors. Jessie loved his family and was a great story teller and jokester. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 72 years, Georgia Pratt Angelle; son, Terry Angelle and wife Anne; daughters, Kathleen Regan and companion Richard Andre, and Sharon Richard and husband, Burt; sister, Alice Degeyter; grandchildren, Roxanne, Michael, Gregory, and Scott Crooks, John and Andrew Angelle, Kyle and Lane Richard, Jacob, Bryant, and Braelon Barras.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albin Angelle; mother, Helen Bethancourt Angelle; a daughter, Jean Crooks; brothers, Rogers and James Angelle; and sisters, Paola Bogue, Aline Hohle, and Barbara Lasseigne.
