Miss Edna K. Smith, the eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Smith of Canton township, died on Wednesday night, October 7, 1903, of typhoid lever, after an illness which lasted about two weeks. Little Edna was a lovely little girl, and in her death the parents and grandparents suffer a great bereavement, in which, however, they have the sympathy of many kind neighbors and friends. The funeral services will be held at the home of the parents, on Friday at 12 o'clock, and will be conducted by the Rev. E. C. Little. The interment will be in Oak Springs cemetery at this place.
