Joseph A. Wahlberg, 72, 10210 Sunset Drive, Roscoe, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1972, in Rochester, Minn., after a long illness. Born Dec. 31, 1899, in Tidaholm, Sweden, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wahlberg. Lived 50 years in Rockford, before moving to Roscoe.

Married to the former Anna Johnson in Rockford Oct. 2, 1926. Retired in 1965 as head foreman for Ingersoll Milling Machine Co., was employed there for 44 years. He attended Roscoe United Methodist Church and was a member of Baltic Lodge No. 56, independent Order of Vikings.

Survivors include’ his widow, Anna; two sons, Ralph and Jerry, both of Roscoe; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Beckus, North Park; six grandchildren, a brother and a sister living in Sweden; He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
