Daughter of Joel Joseph and Mary Ann Longstreth.

Joel M. b. 1846 Virginia. Civil War Veteran. 1871-1873 arrest, escape and court records (along with his brother John). No further information.

John W. b. 1847 Virginia m. Elmina (King) May in 1876 and had two children: Daisy b. 1876 and George b. 1879. John continued to have legal problems throughout the 1870's. Elmina moved to Nebraska with their children and her parents, George and Martha, and married David May. John married Sarah (Tweedell) Brown in 1886. He was living with his younger brother William "David" in 1900 and they were using the surname Frye. David had many legal problems also.
John died of Consumption in 1901.

Mary Elizabeth b. 1854 Ohio m. Thomas Albert Byron Neff in 1872 and had two children. The couple divorced and Mary moved to Thebes, Alexander County, Illinois with her younger sister Sarah Angeline (Fry) Graham. Mary had a daughter with Charles Morris in 1885 and then married John Perry Weibking in 1885. The couple had three children. Mary died in 1926 (Memorial ID #98896111).

Rachael b. 1857 Illinois. No information found after 1870 US census.

Sarah Angeline b. 1860 Illinois. Sarah had a daughter Louisa/Lula/Lulu Billingsley Fry in 1877. Sarah won a bastardy court case in 1877 against Benjamin Warfield Billingsley (1849-1916), the father of her child. Sarah then married Arthur W. Graham/Grahm/Grayham. The couple had Carl G. Graham b. 1879 in Oakland Township, Schuyler County, Illinois then moved to Thebes, Alexander County, Illinois and had three more children: Charles Nelson Graham b. 1884, Earl Stanley Graham b. 1887 and Eugenia (Graham) Kane/Keane McAlroy b. 1893. Sarah died prior to 1900. Arthur and all of the children, including Louisa/Lula/Lulu who had married a Barrett, were living in St. Louis, Missouri in 1900.

William "David" b. 1864 m. Easter Shannon Brown in 1883. The couple had three children born in Ray, Schuyler County, Illinois: George Edward Fry b. 1884, Martha Francis Fry b. 30 October 1885 d. prior to 1900 and Harry Matthew Fry b. 1889. David was using the surname Frye on the 1900 census record, along with his brother John who was living with him at the time. After his brother's death, David moved to Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois. David died in 1928.

The funeral notice states Burress, however, I was told Martha was buried in Pittenger Cemetery, located on private property, by the Schuyler County, Illinois Historical Society.
