In May of 1950 she married Arnold "Buck" Risner, who preceded her in death.
Dorothy loved spending time at home with family and regular trips to town to eat at McDonalds. She brought her flowers in every winter and kept them inside and blooming all year long. She also loved being entertained by the neighbors numerous cats.
She is survived by two children Arnold (Peg) Risner and Lisa (Doug) O’Donnell. She is also survived by two sisters, Millie Messer and Barb Lynam and two brothers, Robert Dickson and Richard Dickson. Dorothy had 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Leroy & Sadie Marie Dickson and two sisters, JoAnn Rowe and Colleen Risner Holbrook.
