Nancy Corene Weston, age 80, of Alamo, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

She was born on April 30, 1938, in Walnut Grove, the daughter of Ben Neal and Martha Bates Neal.

On May 31, 1956, she was married to Teddie Dean Weston who preceded her in death on January 6, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her son, Dallas Lyle Weston; and her parents.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church and worked for many years as a cook in the Mount Ida School cafeteria and several area lake resorts, where she proved herself as one of the best cooks in the world. She loved to crochet, and shared many gifts of socks and afghans, that now will be cherished with special memories.

Corene was a wonderful and faithful Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who above all loved her family with all her heart. She will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to have had her in their lives.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Sherry Weston of Mena; her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Randy Brown of Alamo; her daughter-in-law, Cherri Weston of Alamo; six grandchildren and their spouses, Teddy and Amber Weston, Joshua Brown and his fiancé, Danielle Merryman, Brittany and Walt McCarter, Lauren and Luke Gorrell, Michael Brown and Kevin Weston; six great-grandchildren, Dallas Clay Weston, Beau Weston, Katie Brown, Maddie Brown, Adler Gorrell and Weston McCarter; her sister, Tina Ernestine Miles of Hot Springs; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eddie Ray and Betty Weston and Bonnie Weston, all of Alamo; three nieces she loved as her own, Liladee, Violet and Trena; and many more nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful and loving friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 2, 2018, in the Alamo Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Verl Stovall, Bro. Barry Norman and Bro. Terry Powell officiating.

Interment will be in the Peak Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Weston, Les Harper, Mark Miles, Peter Moix, Merl McGrew, Matt Duffy, Robert Standridge and "all" the Powell boys.
