William T. “Bill” Strouss, Sr., 77 of Jackson Center, passed away on November 27, 2018 at Grove Manor in Grove City. Bill was born in Coraopolis, PA on February 25, 1941 to the late Nicholas D and Beatrice M. Garlick Strouss. Bill worked for 35 years at Shenango Mold in Sharpsville, retiring in 1992.

He married his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Weaver on April 13, 1963, she preceded him in death on February 6, 2012.

Bill loved farming and taking care of his pigs, goats, and cows. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting. He liked to take rides in his golf cart and most of all, loved spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his children, Amy Strouss Uber and companion Bill Slocum, William T. Strouss, Jr., and companion Merry Maghee, and Jeffrey S. Strouss and wife Julie, all of Jackson Center, grandchildren Tiffany, Karen, Kailie, Matthew, Hannah, Douglas, and Sadie, great-grandchildren Vincent, Zachery, Makenna, and Leo, sister Ruth Ann Jenkins of Jackson Center, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of SANDY LAKE, 3236 S. Main Street, where family and friends are welcome from 4-8 pm on Friday, November 30. A funeral service will take place at the Sandy Lake Funeral Home at 11 am on Saturday, December 1, 2018, with Pastor Sally Bell, associate pastor of Methodists United In Faith, officiating.

Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
