Mrs. Rachel Fife Park, former resident of Hutchinson Hall, died Tuesday, May 25, at 9 a.m. in the Gainesville Hospital, Georgia. Mrs. Park had been ill since December and was admitted to the hospital, Sunday, May 23.
Mrs. Park had resided here until 1962 when she left to make her home with her daughter Mrs. Milo W. Henke, Flowery Branch, Georgia.
She was born at Upper St. Clair Township, Dec. 11, 1875, a daughter of the late John Albert and Sara Isabel Fife Fife.
On June 1, 1934, she was married to Alvin Boyd Park, Peters Township. Mr. Park died in 1939.
Mrs. Park was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the local Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Milo W. Henke, Georgia; Mrs. John L. Anderson, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Dwight Sollberger, Indiana; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one sister, Miss Clemmie E Fife, Dormont.
