Aaron W. Mayhall, 65, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born January 3, 1953 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and resided in Princeton his entire lifetime. He was a graduate of Princeton Community High School in 1971 and then served in the U. S. Air Force from 1972 – 1974. Aaron was a former welder in the construction industry and was currently employed with TIC as a quality control inspector. He was a member of Broadway Christian Church in Princeton. Aaron’s family was very important to him, especially the grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time at the river, fishing and target shooting.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Smith) Mayhall of Princeton and to whom he was married November 20, 1976 at Broadway Christian Church; son and daughter-in-law, Zachary W. and Lindsey Mayhall of Evansville and son, Kyle E. Mayhall of Nashville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Peyton W. and Cooper S. Mayhall; mother, Mary A. Mayhall of Princeton; mother-in-law, Lois M. Smith of Princeton and brother-in-law, Jeffrey E. Smith of Patoka.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ervin D. Mayhall in 1989 and father-in-law, R. Eugene Smith in 1998.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Decker Cemetery, rural Patoka. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4th and again from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Broadway Christian Church, Gibson County Animal Services or American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at Colvin’s. Colvin Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements for Aaron
