Mrs. Marietta Hargis died yesterday following an extended illness. She died at the home of her daughter in Glen Canyon, where she had resided for three years. Mrs. Hargis was born in Alabama and was 76 years of age. She leaves a daughter and son at Glen Canyon and a daughter in Texas. The body is at the C. C. Chase Mortuary and the funeral will be Wednesday.
