GILBERT WAYNE NAIL, 53, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in Ranger. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Nail was born August 16, 1947, in Ranger, to Lela Mae Daniels and Loyd Francis Nail. He was a graduate of Ranger High School, Ranger Junior College and attended Tarleton State University.He married Trudy Preston in Ardmore, OK. He worked in construction prior to becoming disabled. Mr. Nail was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors at the time of his death include his wife, Trudy; a daughter, Sherry Brandt of Lewisville; two sisters, Martha Goldsmith of Burleson and Patsy Eller of Granbury; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Nail; and two brothers, Jimmy Lee Nail (RHS-1955) and Junior Loyd Nail.
