Eleanor J. Rinehart, 81, of Walker, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Ohio Valley Health Care.
She was born February 26, 1937, in Wood County, a daughter of the late James O. and Beulah Lynch Bailey.
Eleanor enjoyed gardening, outdoors and loved watching the birds and the deer. She was a member of Kanawha Baptist Church in Leachtown, WV and a member of The Wood County Flywheelers Engine Club.
She is survived by her three sons, Hank Rinehart (Elaine, Jim Rinehart (Sherri) and Eric Rinehart (Sharolyn); five grandchildren, Sara Dunn (Adam), Doug Rinehart (Amanda), Jamie Rinehart, Ethan Rinehart (Ariel Cristia) and Lauren Rinehart; and four great-grandchildren, Stella and Ava Dunn and Elli and Silas Rinehart.
In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Rinehart; one brother, James “Bud” Bailey; and two sisters, Thelma M. Bibbee and Norma A. Dunn.
The family would like to thank the owner and staff of Ohio Valley Health Care for their care and compassion during our mother’s brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, with Pastor Tom Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Baptist Cemetery, Leachtown. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Saturday and one hour prior to the services Sunday at the funeral home.
