Wylie William Anderson, Jr., 68, formerly of Kitzmiller, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at his residence in Madison, AL.

Born on March 5, 1950 in Emoryville, WV, he was the son of the late Wylie and Velma (Hipp) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson proudly served in the United States Army. He completed two tours of Vietnam serving as a Huey crew chief and a Cobra mechanic.

Mr. Anderson was a residential painter and business owner. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

His favorite past times were gardening with his grandchildren and sitting on the front porch with his siblings. Surviving are one son, Wylie (Will) Anderson, III and wife Brandi of Oakland; two daughters, Erika Graham and husband Jeremy of Oakland, Melissa Husa and husband Ron, of Madison, AL; four grandsons, Elias Dale, Brayan Anderson, Brennen Anderson, Wylie (Andy) Anderson, IV; two granddaughters, Brianna Jones and Analyn Husa; one great granddaughter, Alaina Stewart; and someone he loved like a granddaughter, Jaime Hanlin.

He is also survived by two brothers, eight sisters and his brother-in-law and life-long friend, Roger Welch of Kitzmiller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Jones; three brothers and one sister.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor John Friend officiating.

Interment, with military honors, will be in the Bayard Cemetery. Friends and Family will gather at the Kitzmiller Community Building for a dinner and fellowship after leaving the cemetery.
