Frank Benson Christensen passed away Tuesday, Sep 2, 1992 after a long fight with cancer. He was a longtime resident of Pocatello.
Frank was born June 19, 1950 in Rexburg, Idaho. After graduating from Pocatello High School, Frank completed a vocational program in custodial training at Idaho State University. Frank worked for a number of businesses in Pocatello, and spent several months as a janitor at Whitehorse High School on the Navajo Indian Reservation.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Louisa Benson Christensen. He is survived by his father, Louis Victor Christensen, and stepmother, Norma Bell Christensen of Pocatello; sister, Kathleen Benedict of Blanding, Utah; brothers Dale B Christensen of Logan, Utah’ Michael B Christensen of Brigham City, Utah; Kelly B Christensen of Pocatello, Ludean B Christensen of Salt Lake City, David B Christensen of Pocatello, and Louis B Christensen of Salt Lake City.
During his life, Frank enjoyed the company of his 19 nieces and nephews .
Services will be held Saturday, Sept 5 at 11 a.m. at the Pocatello LDS Fourth Ward Chapel, Seventh and Lewis. Interment will follow the services at the Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Utah at 3 p.m. The family will meet with friends tonight, Sept 4, from 6 ;.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel, 510 N 12th Ave, and on Saturday for one hour prior to time of services at the church.
