MUNFORD - Services for Alma Tims Reid, 79, of Munford, will be Friday at 2 pm at Munford Baptist Church with Harold Bannister officiating. Burial will be in Old Munford Baptist Church Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home of Oxford in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm.

Mrs Reid died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Gadsden.

Survivors include five daughters, Dean Brown of Kennesaw, Ga, Faye Boswell of Oxford, Evie lackey of Munford, Brenda Tims of Pueblo, Colo, and Macie Morgan of Hartsell; four step-daughters, Joyce McCullars of Anniston, Beatrice McConathy of Oxford, Barbara Hughes of Munford and Linda Jones of Talladega; three sons, Franklin Buddy Tims of Leeds and Harold Tims of Widner, Ga, and Rodney Tims of Lincoln; two stepsons, Gene Reid of Heflin and Lamar Reid of Oxford; four sisters, Estelle Butterworth, Louise Clay and Lois Smith, all of Munford, and Ollie Smith of Anniston; 31 grandchildren, 22 step-grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Russell Boswell, Rick Nichols, Bryant Kirkland, Patrick Lackey, Mike Brown, Jessie Tims Jr, and Todd Duncan.

Mrs Reid was a member of Munford Baptist Church.
