Grover Guy Bradshaw, 84, of Star City,died Saturday,January 31,1998,at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 15,1913,at Star City, son of the late Grafton Thomas and Bessie Florence Hooker Bradshaw.
He attended the Shell Baptist Church at Star City.He had worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and as a machine operator at Ben Pearson Company. He was a WW II Army Air Corps veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife,Mamie Lorene Calhoun Bradshaw,a son Billy, and a daughter Audene.
Survivors include his wife Francis Bradshaw, whom he married July 6, 1993; eight sons, Larry Bradshaw, David Bradshaw,Thomas Bradshaw,Randy Bradshaw,Mark Bradshaw and Guy Bradshaw, all of White Hall, Robert Bradshaw of Leland,North Carolina,and Jack Bradshaw of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Brenda Hopson and Donna Bradshaw ,both of White Hall, and Nadine Linker of Pine Bluff; a brother, G.T.Bradshaw of Wright; two sisters, Lorene Freeman of Pine Bluff and Alliene Heflin of Star City; 28 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m.Monday at Hale-South Funeral Home with the Rev.Gary Akers officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery at Star City.
