Services for Gayle Ann Bordelon Kimbrell will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2007, St. Rita Catholic Church with Father Craig Scott officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.
Ms. Kimbrell, 59, of Alexandria, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at her residence.
She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria. Ms. Kimbrell worked at Showers of Flowers in both Alexandria and Pineville, also at Ambers and Stans. She was a food service worker for the Rapides School Board at Alexandria Junior High.
Ms. Kimbrell was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse Evans and Neva Lemoine Bordelon; brothers, Raymond, Rodney, and Richard Bordelon; sisters, Neil Santarone and Diane Fowler.
Those left to cherish her memory include her former husband of 36 years, Carl H. Kimbrell; son, Bruce Randolph Kimbrell of Alexandria; daughters, Jennifer Jill Alexander and husband Todd of Katy, Texas, Wendy Renea Griffin and husband Charles Randall "Randy" of Dry Prong; brothers, Alphonse "Al" Bordelon, Jr. of Logansport, Gerald "Jerry" Bordelon of Hessmer, Charles Bordelon of Pineville; sister, Patricia Townley of Alexandria grandchildren, Courtney Edwards and husband Ronnie, Kristyn Bordelon, Kayla Bordelon, Cody Kimbrell, Casey Kimbrell, Peyton Alexander, Brenna Griffin.
Pallbearers will be Randy Griffin, Ronnie Edwards, Michael Alexander, Clinton Townley, Timothy Wilkins, and Leon Nugent.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 5p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be a Christian Wake Service, Wednesday at 6p.m. conducted by Father Scott.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410.
