Helen was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, where she served on numerous committees, and was also active in Bible studies during the span of her membership. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed family get-togethers, helping her husband on the family farm, playing cards, and eating out with family and friends. On June 6, 1948, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, she married Ivan Larue “Snowball” Wehmiller and he preceded her in death on October 28, 2012, after 64 years of marriage.
