Celia Elaine Denham ObituaryCelia was a native and resident of Baton Rouge died November 24, 2018. She was 76 years of age, and a retired office manager and bookkeeper at Electronic Business Systems for all her working career. Since she never married she had a very large adopted family that she dearly loved. Everyone employed at EBS and their family and everyone at Zoar Baptist Church was always greeted by her with a hug. She gave many showers, birthday parties and parties for her Sunday school students. She also made friends with people at Parkview Baptist at the country music shows. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, East, 11000 Florida Boulevard Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Visiting will be at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Rd., Friday, November 30, 2018 starting at 10:00am until religious services at 11:00 am conducted by Glen Miers. Interment will be in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by two brothers and sisters-in law Robert and Opal Denham of Walker, and Lindon Denham and Linda in Baton Rouge; Sister, Nita Denham Grice and Wesley Grice of Houston, Texas; nephews, Dewitt Denham, Neil Grice and David Grice in Houston, TX; nieces, Michell Aston, Angie Denham and Layla Denham. She had many other precious family members and dear friends too many to name. She was preceded in death by father, Dewitt Talmadge Denham, and mother, Rossie Evelyn Denham Hanson, and a brother Hardy Hanson. She was a lifelong member of Zoar Baptist Church. There will be visitation at Rabenhorst on Florida Thurs from 5 00 pm to 8 00 pm. Fri visitation from 10 am to 11. The service at 11 00 then grave side following that the church will have lunch at the church for all those attending the service.
