He was born on December 14, 1935, in rural Eau Claire County to Daniel "Pete" and Elsie (Knuth) Kuhnert. He graduated from Fall Creek Public School in 1954. He married the love of his life and best friend, Hazel Mueller, on January 15, 1955, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fall Creek. He worked for Coffin & Schaaf and the county highway department. He then owned and operated the Standard and Mobil gas station in Fall Creek. Harvey was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked hard all his life and did many projects for friends and family.
